The 2025 edition of the Fazza International Championships for People of Determination was launched as its partners and sponsors were announced here on January 8, 2025.

Dubai Land Department was announced as the championships’ strategic partner while the 2025 edition will have sponsorship from real estate development companies - HRE as strategic sponsors while Wellington Properties, Beyond Properties, Prescott Development and Azizi Development as Diamond sponsors and Arista Properties as its gold sponsor.

This was announced during a press conference on the day in the presence of Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Land Department, Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Fazza International Championships, Majid Al-Usaimi, Director of the Championships, and representatives of the sponsors.

The speakers during the conference praised the great interest that His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to develop the sport for People of Determination and enhancing Dubai's position as a global sports destination.

Marwan bin Ghalita stressed the importance of the event, noting that the Fazza Championships are an extension of Dubai's ambitious vision that aims to empower "People of Determination".

“The Fazza Championship is a platform that reflects Dubai's firm commitment to supporting all community groups and enhancing its position as a global city that embodies the values ​​of inclusiveness and innovation.”

Berregad thanked His Highness for his continuous support for the Fazza Championships which has made it one of the most important championships for People of Determination in the world. “These championships have emerged as a major milestone for the participants.”

“The Fazza Championships have become a tool to enhance community awareness and solidarity among all its members and contributed to raising the status of the country in staging global sport events.”

Majid Al-Usaimi noted that His Highness' motivating words gave the organizing committee the ‘will and high spirits’ to take the Fazza Championships to the horizons of success.

“These Championships presented several inspiring stories through its various editions; it has emerged as one of the important events in qualification for the Paralympic Games as Dubai fulfilled the dreams of many champions.”

The Fazza International Championships, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, will begin with the Para Athletics Grand Prix from 6 February 2025.
